 Habiliteringen i Uppsala län is part of the administration Nära vård och hälsa in Region Uppsala and has for many years been a “habilitation at the forefront”. 
We are a specialized operation and have our expertise in various forms of congenital movement disorders as well as acquired brain injury, autism, intellectual disabilities and turn to children, adolescents and adults with disabilities. 
We work to create the conditions for independence and an active life through developmental, supportive and compensatory interventions.
 Our interdisciplinary teams are located in Enköping, Tierp, Uppsala and Östhammar. The activities are characterized by development and an evidence-based approach, and you will have a stimulating and varied job. 
Competence development and exchange of experience take place continuously within the habilitation's own activities. 
Each profession also has regular meetings to ensure equivalent competence and thus equal care within the county's various units. All new employees have a personal mentor during their first year. Within the administration there is a research and development department, with the aim of stimulating and supporting development work. 
The Habilitation Unit for Mobility Impairment consists of 28 employees with the professions of occupational therapist, social worker/curator, physiotherapist/physiotherapist, psychologist, speech therapist, special educator, secretary and group manager. 
Our different skills make us versatile and flexible.
